Dedication To A Friend

This is NOT a dedication to a friend, It is a dedication to my two best friends.
Firstly it is about Tigger. I remember the day we met. It was September 1995. Everyone was gathered around your sister, she was always the centre of attention. I didn't really notice her. I noticed you sitting alone in a corner. You looked lonely. I did something I normally would never do. I sat next to you and started talking. That was nearly 8 years ago Tigger, can you believe that? Remember all the things that have happened since then? I do. Sometimes we talk for hours, and sometimes we do crazy things together. We share crushes, even the embarassing ones we'd never tell anyone else. We have listened to each other's break-up stories (for hours and hours!) and cursed out the asshole who would dare dump either of us! We've wiped away each other's tears, and laughed together too.
We've never hesitated to tell each other the truth. Even when the truth is hard to face.
We've had our silly arguements, but who hasn't? Things that seemed important at the time, don't seem to matter enough to break us up.
Thanks for all the years, the chocolate binges, and the laughs!

Secondly there is you Galen. You are my fiance, but you are also my best friend. I tell you everything. I know some people will find that hard to believe but it's true. I have no secrets from you. We've been together since august 2000, and we had our problems at the beginning but we've worked everything out. If anything, our problems have made our love stronger. Everytime I have a problem, I feel better talking to you about it. You calm me down and help me put it into perspective. When I need to rant, you let me rant. You make everything ok. You're always there for me. I never have to wonder about whether you'll always be there, I just know you will.
Thank you just for being you. I love you so much.
I only hope that I am just as good a friend in return.
